This position is ideal for someone who is creative and passionate about marketing, and has the ability to execute and strong attention to detail.   • Play a critical role in defining and executing tgin’s social media strategies with a strong focus on visual channels such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn and Pinterest as well as the newsletter.
  • Create an annual plan for increasing followership and engagement within and across the organization’s social channels.
  • Set clear objectives through a social media plan focusing on brand awareness, conversion, customer retention, promoting sales and propelling the brand.

Editorial Calendar

  • Plan the monthly content calendar across Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook and produce a weekly content schedule that brings to life tgin’s brand narrative & personality.


Cross-Functional Initative

  • Assist in enhancing relationships with the retailers by working with marketing team to craft retailer-specific social content plans on owned channels.
  • Supply senior management with social media content/analytics for brand and corporate presentations as needed.
  • Work very closely with our marketing team to provide insights on what’s working, and what’s not on our social channels.
  • Work with Creative Coordinator to ensure strategic alignment and cohesive branding execution on all content and campaigns, including newsletter and social media networks
  • Work with marketing department (product development lead) to successfully launch products on social media and engage consumers


Analytics & Reporting

  • Provide weekly analytics reporting of social channel growth, engagement, reach, revenue and effectiveness of our social campaigns, with an emphasis on media and notable/verified interactions, to constantly evolve the calendar moving forward.
  • Drive social media landscape research to develop a competitive advantage for the tgin brand.
  • Provide ongoing consumer feedback (complaints, reviews on new formulas, feedback on products wanted etc.) to include in reports to management.
  • Stay abreast of algorithmic changes and social platform updates.


Community Management

  • Lead team of content creators to shape the voice of the brand across social media communities, which includes, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
  • Manage efforts in building online reviews and reputation by leveraging positive client experiences and testimonials.



  • Manage social ad and content creation budget ensuring we optimize and spend wisely & find opportunities to invest in media.



  • Be at the forefront of what is happening in the space and propose new platforms to enter and first to market programs
  • Be the eyes and ears for the team on what’s trending on social media. Take a broader POV beyond just hair care as to what are the relevant topics of conversation we should be taking a POV on.
  • Serve as a Social Marketing “Best Practices” expert for the organization – monitor and share trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy

We are looking for a detail-oriented Marketing and Events coordinator to help support tgin’s event marketing programs. Primary focus for this new role is on tactical planning and execution of marketing events and trade shows. The Marketing and Events  Coordinatorassists in creating brand awareness through advertising, social media, digital and more. This role manages projects, campaigns, and budgets. This individual is also responsible for status reports on marketing efforts, brand analysis, competitive information, and metrics. Must be able to communicate effectively across different levels of the organization, and meet deadlines for multiple projects. 

Job Requirements

  • Plan, lead and coordinate 50+ events a year nationwide.
  • Set up, stage, and break down events focused on the beauty industry.

Brand Manager – Chicago Only

We’ve kicked off the search for a Brand Manager who will lead the development of the brand positioning for tgin. You will lead the life cycle brand vision including product research and ideation, go-to-market launch campaigns, continued vertical growth and development, and ongoing consumer research and analysis. You will be responsible for P&L for the vertical and its current and future portfolio of products. Note, this position is both strategic and tactical.

What you’ll do

  • Exhibit full ownership of new product development from concept to launch in the hair vertical
  • Lead the vision and drive sustainable market share and profitable growth, based on in-depth competitive landscape and consumer insights
  •  Lead the innovation strategy and product development for full size, sample size, set and seasonal products
  • Lead the vision for competitive product positioning to continually reinforce point of difference including assortment architecture, pricing and innovation pipeline
  • Develop category and product playbook including communication dossier, advertising guidelines, features and benefits (functional, technical and emotional), reason to believe, education priorities and competitive positioning
  • Lead the product and ingredient storytelling to amplify brand desirability and differentiation vs mass and prestige competition
  • Manage the current business and own the category vertical P&L, leading action planning and go-to-market strategies for new product launches
  • Develop and ensure execution of brand marketing and 360 degree marketing support calendar based on 12-month launch window
  • Define and develop trade marketing and promotional marketing tools including sampling, sets, POS, displays and other consumer elements
  •  Coordinate the department’s strategy  with respect to events, sponsorship, video, partnerships, campaigns, print/radio and tv.
  • Work closely with Finance and Strategy to analyze tgin’s existing customer base and target audience. Actively and expertly uses this data to target marketing and improve performance.

Marketing & Product Development Coordinator – Chicago Only


  • Identify innovation hunting grounds and new product opportunities
